A little about me...

I’ve learned that real growth often happens in the messy, everyday moments—and that’s where therapy can meet you. I’m a neurodivergent-affirming therapist who helps people notice and build on the strengths they already bring. My approach is strength-based and trauma-informed, guided by empathy, warmth, and humility, with a little grit when it’s needed. I aim to create a space where you feel genuinely understood and supported, while also helping you notice patterns, explore your potential, and take meaningful steps toward personal growth.

Together, we’ll shape therapy around your unique experiences, uncovering strengths and developing strategies that actually fit your life—not the other way around. I draw from Internal Family Systems, Somatic and Polyvagal Practices, Narrative Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, Solution-Focused Approaches, and Mindfulness-Based techniques. I see you as the expert in your own life, and my role is to offer guidance, validation, and sometimes a little humor, helping you navigate life’s challenges in a way that feels authentic and practical.
My life experience...
Life keeps me on my toes -- between parenting a spirited toddler, sharing life with a loving partner, and navigating work and daily responsibilities, I’ve learned that growth, connection, and resilience often happen in the messy, unexpected moments. These everyday experiences shape how I see the world and, combined with my professional expertise, guide the thoughtful, informed approach I bring to therapy.
Before becoming a therapist, I spent over 15 years in Sonoma County’s nonprofit sector, working in both direct service and leadership roles. I’ve supported adults and transitional-aged youth with diverse intellectual and developmental abilities, as well as teens from all walks of life. These experiences taught me to meet people where they are, to adapt with flexibility, empathy, and creativity, and to recognize the unique strengths each person carries. They also shaped how I understand relationships, systems, and the many factors that influence growth and resilience -- lessons I carry into my work and my life every day.
Alongside these experiences, I’ve spent years navigating high-demand,
fast-paced environments -- balancing multiple responsibilities, managing overlapping priorities, and responding to the expectations of colleagues, communities, and myself. These experiences taught me how to adapt,
problem-solve, and stay grounded even when life pulls in many directions at once. As a Maltese-American, a first-generation college graduate, and a lifelong Californian, I’ve also learned what it means to manage multiple identities and cultural expectations. Together, these personal and professional experiences inform how I support clients -- with curiosity, compassion, and an understanding that growth rarely follows a straight path.
